It is with deep sadness that the Darby Township Police Department announces the passing of Corporal Danny Fynes, Badge #104.

Cpl. Fynes served our community for over 21 years and dedicated nearly four decades to public safety. From his early years at 911 to his roles as Juvenile Officer, Criminal Investigator, and ultimately Detective Corporal, he embodied professionalism, compassion, and unwavering commitment to the residents of Darby Township.
He was also a proud member of the DTPD Sunshine Club, always giving back to the community he loved.

We, the members of the Darby Township Police Department, extend our heartfelt condolences to the Fynes family during this difficult time. His service, sacrifice, and impact will never be forgotten.
