🔥 FIRE ALERT – Baldwin County 🔥

The Alabama Forestry Commission has issued a Statewide Fire Alert effective immediately through at least Monday, April 20, 2026.

⛔ Please be mindful of ALL outdoor burning — this includes campfires, brush piles, and debris burns.

⚠️ Conditions across Alabama are extremely dry with no rain in sight. In just the last 30 days, 387 wildfires have burned over 15,850 acres statewide. Fast-moving fires are dangerous to property, forests, and lives.

âś… What you can do:
• Avoid ALL outdoor burning until further notice
• Keep grills away from structures & never leave unattended
• Report wildfires by calling 911 or (800) 392-5679
• Stay updated at 👉www.forestry.alabama.gov

Stay safe, Baldwin County. We’ll keep you updated as conditions change.

Huge shoutout to our members Jeremy and John—currently putting in the time, sweat, and dedication to work through the Volunteer Firefighter course. 💪🔥

This isn’t a small commitment. It takes grit, sacrifice, and a whole lot of hours to get through. We’re proud of the effort they’re putting in to step up and serve.

Big thanks as well to Summerdale Volunteer Fire Department for hosting the program and to Orange Beach Fire Rescue for providing access to their top-notch training facilities.

Update: POWER BACK ON 🔋

🚨 Tree on Power Lines - Power Outage Update 🚨

Our Fire Department is currently on scene with Baldwin EMC responding to a tree that has fallen onto power lines at Witt Rd & Bon Secour HWY. Crews are working quickly and safely to resolve the situation.

⚠️ Please avoid the area and do not approach downed power lines — always assume they are live.

Baldwin EMC is actively working to restore power and expects service to be restored soon. We’ll update you as more information becomes available.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation. Stay safe!

🚨 Big News from the Team! 🚨

Please join us in congratulating our very own Addison Pollard on officially passing his NREMT exam and becoming a certified EMT! 🎉💪

Becoming an EMT isn’t just about passing a test — it’s about stepping up when others need it most. Addison has shown incredible dedication, countless hours of studying, and a real commitment to service.

This certification is no small feat — and it marks the beginning of a journey where skill, heart, and resilience come together to make a real difference.

Proud is an understatement. Let’s show Addison some love in the comments! 👏👇

Last night, we responded to a structure fire in Bon Secour that left a deep impact on everyone involved.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this heartbreaking time.

Grateful to serve in a community where neighboring departments show up without hesitation—when it matters most, no one stands alone.

Magnolia Springs Fire Rescue says it assisted in fighting a fully involved mobile home fire Saturday night.

We had a profitable time training with our mutual aid departments! 🤜

Historic Snowfall in Bon Secour ❄️

Yesterday’s snowfall brought a rare and beautiful winter wonderland to Bon Secour, AL. While we stayed busy ensuring the community’s safety—including responding to a structure fire with Magnolia Springs Fire Rescue—we couldn’t resist taking a moment to have a little fun and build a snowman outside the station!

As exciting as this weather is, we want to remind everyone: please stay off the roads unless absolutely necessary. Icy conditions can make driving dangerous and delay emergency responses. And as always, if you’re experiencing an emergency, call 911—we’re here for you.

Enjoy the snow, Bon Secour, but stay safe and cautious. If you’ve built your own snowman, we’d love to see it—share your photos in the comments!

As of 12 p.m. on January 21, 2025, all roads and bridges in Baldwin County should be considered IMPASSABLE until further notice due to severe winter weather conditions.

Members of the general public are advised to suspend or delay all travel. Only emergency vehicles should attempt to travel on county roads and bridges during this time to ensure public safety and to allow crews to respond to weather-related hazards effectively.

The Baldwin County Highway Department is actively monitoring road conditions and will provide updates as they become available. An announcement will be made when this IMPASSABLE TRAVEL ADVISORY is lifted.
