Attention Oke Fans! Visitors to the Refuge can now enjoy longer hours absorbing the beauty and serenity of the “Jewel of the Southeast!” Beginning today, the Refuge will be open half an hour before sunrise until 7:30pm daily. We, here at Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge, invite everyone to visit this unique ecosystem and explore the natural wonders that await you! Now, the chance to experience more breathtaking views of this wetland wonder is literally at your fingertips!
