Brooke County Senior Center We are a non profit organization for Seniors The Senior Center has many programs and activities for Seniors in Brooke County. Please call for info.

Transportation- for shopping, medical appointments, activities, dialysis, ect. Services - Golden Mountaineer Card, LIEAP applications, Insurance (SHIP) Counseling, Handicapped Parking applications, Letter Writing or Reading, Medicare help and information, Health Fairs, Blood Pressure Clinics, hearing and eye screenings, etc. Newsletters Printed Monthly, detailing all activities, Nutrition menu, in

formation. The Brooke - Hancock Nutrition Program- 60 years of age or older to be eligible. Home Delivered meals, Congregate meals. Brooke County In-Home services- Eligibility depends primarily on the urgency of the patient's need for assistance with personal care and activities of daily living as recommended by a physician. Fees are determined according to income, assets, and medical condition. Some may qualify for medicaid coverage or other programs such as sliding fee or a private pay fee.

Today the Brooke County Senior Center celebrated Valentine's Day with bingo, a dessert bar and a few winners from our baby contest. The seniors were asked to guess the office staff's baby pictures. This was really fun, noone guessed me, lol
