Baked apples are a comforting autumn treat that's naturally sweet, high in fiber, and topped with heart-friendly walnuts. 🍁

Ingredients
🍎 4 medium apples, such as Honeycrisp or Gala
🍎 1/2 cup rolled oats
🍎 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
🍎 2 tablespoons maple syrup
🍎 1 tablespoon melted butter or coconut oil
🍎 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
🍎 1/2 cup water

Instructions
✅ Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
✅ Core the apples, leaving the bottoms intact, and place them in a small baking dish.
✅ In a bowl, mix the oats, walnuts, maple syrup, melted butter, and cinnamon.
✅ Spoon the mixture into each apple and pour the water into the bottom of the dish.
✅ Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until the apples are tender, then serve warm with a spoonful of Greek yogurt. 🥄
