FINALLY! After much deliberation, the parish has lifted the burn ban. However, all other state, parish and local burn ordinances remain in effect.
According to Parish ordinances, the yard debris fire shall not be greater than eight feet in diameter and four feet in height, be in a container if closer than 50 feet from a structure, shall not be unattended and a water hose must be nearby. ⚠ Upcoming Road Closure from DOTD for LA 25⚠

COVINGTON, La. — The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development will replace a culvert along LA 25 in St. Tammany Parish.

LA 25 will close Monday, June 6, 2022 through Saturday, June 11, 2022, as DOTD crews work to make drainage improvements. All work is weather permitting. The culvert will be replaced between Sweet Olive Lane and Beechwood Gardens Lane.

Detour routes will be posted.

LA 25 Detour/Alternate Route:
From the north on LA 25, drivers will turn right on LA 1078, left on 1077, and left on US 190.

From the south side of LA 25, drivers will take US 190, turn right on LA 1077, right on LA 1078, and left to return to LA 25.

🚧 Upcoming Road Closure: Portion of St. John Church Rd, Folsom 🚧

Starting Monday, June 6th, St. John Church Rd. in Folsom will be closed at the intersection of Lee Settlement Rd. and at the intersection of Lee Cemetery Rd. for bridge repairs. This closure is scheduled to be completed in 10 days, weather permitting.
