Taking healthy food where it’s needed most!🚚💚

In July, our outreach programs—Pantry Outreach Program, Pantry on Wheels, and Angels on Wheels— distributed 6,670 pounds of food to neighbors who can’t make it to the food bank, while also stocking the shelves of our partner agencies. 🙌🥕

Mark your calendars, Folsom! Saturday, September 19 is Folsom Community Service Day—and once again, our entire community will come together to fill the shelves at Twin Lakes Food Bank.

Thousands of grocery bags. Hundreds of volunteers. One big citywide food drive.
Last year, Folsom collected more than 56,000 pounds of food for local families. This year, we’re going for even more!

Meet Paul Haines! 👋 Every Thursday, Paul is up before sunrise picking up donations, sorting produce, weighing carts, and jumping in wherever he’s needed. But his favorite part might just be bringing a little fun to the produce stand—yes, that sometimes means juggling produce! 🥦🤹‍♂️

With a quick sense of humor, an easygoing spirit, and a heart for people, Paul reminds us that volunteering is about more than getting the job done—it’s about showing up and making someone’s day a little brighter. ❤️

Fresh from our garden to our neighbors!

In July, our amazing garden volunteers harvested 1,610 pounds of organic produce from our very own organic garden! 🙌

That’s a whole lot of goodness grown with love—and shared with our community. Talk about a fruitful month! 💚

In July, we provided groceries and support to 919 seniors over the age of 60. 🛒Behind every one is a story, a family, and a neighbor we've come to care for. It's an honor to walk alongside them.❤️

If you’ve ever wondered who keeps our 150+ weekly volunteers organized, supported, and feeling appreciated, meet Paula! Since joining the Twin Lakes team in 2024, she’s been putting her 20+ years of leadership and service experience to work—coordinating volunteers, supporting events, and helping make all the behind-the-scenes magic happen.

But Paula’s heart for service goes far beyond a job title. She loves seeing people come together to serve their neighbors—and she brings that same warmth, humor, and energy to everything she does. 💙

When she’s not in the office, Paula is kayaking, hiking, making art, spoiling her grandkids, or waging an ongoing battle with her stair stepper. We’re rooting for you, Paula! 😉
