“People matter. Helping people matters.”

Service means answering the call, walking toward someone’s hardest moment, and doing what you can to bring a little light.

This is why we serve.

🚧 Updated Traffic Alert: Prairie City Road will be closed between U.S. Highway 50 and White Rock Road from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning Monday, August 24. Work is expected to be completed the week of September 1. Work is planned for weekdays, but weekend closures may be necessary on August 29 and 30. The road will reopen outside work hours.

Through a partnership between Sacramento County and the City of Folsom, crews will repave portions of Prairie City Road. The middle section will receive critical pavement patches and repairs.

The middle section is planned for full reconstruction and realignment as part of future development. These repairs will address the most critical pavement needs until full reconstruction begins.

Drivers traveling on Highway 50 should use the East Bidwell Street exit and follow posted detour signs. Plan ahead and allow additional travel time. Thank you for your patience as this important work moves forward.
