Thank you for supporting the 38th Annual Scouting for Food Drive!

Fondy Food Pantry received 1,015 pounds of donated food to help feed our neighbors facing food insecurity!

From distributing collection bags on October 10 to gathering donations on October 17, local Scouts, families, and volunteers came together to make a difference.

We’re grateful to the Bay-Lakes Council, participating Scout units, Festival Foods in Fond du Lac, and everyone who donated food or volunteered their time. A special thank-you to Tammi Thurow and Sherry Downhour for coordinating this community effort!

Your generosity helps keep our shelves stocked and puts food on the tables of local families. Thank you!

🙌 Your time can make a difference at Fondy Food Pantry!
We’re looking for community members to join our volunteer team and help during our walk-in pantry sessions. Help us provide a welcoming experience and nutritious food for our neighbors!

Volunteer roles include:
🚗 Parking Lot: Help guide vehicles and keep traffic moving.
👋 Greeter: Welcome neighbors and help direct them.
📝 Registration: Help check in neighbors and update their information.
🥕 Produce: Help distribute fresh fruits and vegetables.
🥫 Shelf Stable: Help distribute pantry staples.
🛒 Check Out: Assist neighbors as they finish their visit.
🤝 Floater: Lend a hand wherever help is needed.

A big thank-you to SSM Health for a $20,000 gift supporting our Food for Thought program!

This generous support helps provide nutritious weekend food bags and school-day snacks to approximately 1,100 children each week in the Fond du Lac, Eden, Campbellsport, and Ripon school districts.

Now in its 15th year, Food for Thought helps fill the gap when school meals aren’t available giving children the nourishment they need to learn, grow, and thrive.

We’re grateful to SSM Health for investing in the health of local children and helping us fight childhood hunger. Together, we’re making a difference, one bag at a time!

Food for Thought is back for the 2026–27 school year!

Our volunteers began packing bags this morning to help local children have food to eat over the weekend, when school meals aren’t available.

The impact adds up: in 2025, Food for Thought provided 107,624 pounds of food to children in our community; that’s more than 53 tons. Thank you to the volunteers and supporters who make each bag possible!

Each bag represents a child in our community and a group of volunteers who care. Thank you to everyone for helping us get this year’s program underway!

Help Us Fill Birthday Bags!

Every child deserves to feel celebrated on their birthday! Fondy Food Pantry’s Birthday Bag initiative provides families with supplies to make their child’s special day a little brighter.

Labor Day Closure Notice

Fondy Food Pantry will be CLOSED on Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day.

There will be no pantry services on Monday. We encourage our neighbors to plan ahead for their food needs.

We wish our volunteers, neighbors, and community partners a safe and enjoyable Labor Day!
