Whether it’s caused by alcohol or legal or illegal drugs, impaired drivers put everyone at risk. To help keep our roadways safe, the Fontana Police Department—along with other law enforcement agencies across Wisconsin—will be watching for impaired drivers as part of the “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign running December 12, 2025 through January 1, 2026.
What can you do to help? If you suspect an impaired driver, call 911. Never allow someone to get behind the wheel while impaired. Protect yourself and your passengers by buckling up, watching your speed, and staying alert.
Consider downloading the free Drive Sober mobile app. In addition to a designated driver selector, it includes a “find-a-ride” feature that uses your smartphone’s GPS to help locate alternative transportation options.
Our goal is to ensure everyone enjoys a safe and happy holiday season!
