🧱 Leave Your Mark on Ford City!

The Ford City Borough Parks and Recreation Committee is launching a Memorial Brick Walk in Ford City Memorial Park to help create a lasting tribute in Ford City Park while supporting improvements to our community parks and recreational spaces.

Personalized bricks may be purchased to:

• Honor a loved one
• Celebrate your family
• Recognize a veteran
• Support Ford City’s community parks

Bricks are available in 4” x 8” and 8” x 8” sizes and will be installed in Ford City Park as part of this special community project. Proceeds will directly benefit existing park projects and other recreational assets throughout the Borough.

Orders may be placed online at thatsmybrick.com/fordcity or by completing an order form available at the Borough office. Payment may be made by cash, check, or online.

The current purchase deadline is spring 2027, so there is plenty of time to plan your message and become part of Ford City Borough’s legacy.

Please see the attached flyer for complete details and help us spread the word by sharing this post! đź’›

There is still plenty of time to fill out our community survey!

đź“‹ COMMUNITY SURVEY: WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!

Ford City and Manorville are participating in Pennsylvania’s Community Planning Technical Assistance Program. This program is helping both communities complete the preliminary work needed to potentially develop a joint comprehensive plan and consider updated zoning regulations.

A comprehensive plan is essentially a long-range roadmap for the community. It helps guide future decisions involving housing, economic development, infrastructure, public safety, transportation, recreation, community character, and the overall use of land. This survey is an important first step in that process.

Before any goals or recommendations are developed, we need to understand what the people who live, work, own property, or operate businesses in our communities actually want. The survey asks about the issues facing Ford City, the services and improvements you believe should be prioritized, how you would like the community to look in the future, and who should be responsible for addressing identified needs.

No zoning decisions have been made, and this survey is not proposing any specific ordinance or project. We are gathering information so that future planning is based on broad community input, not simply the opinions of elected officials or a small group of participants.

Responses will be kept confidential and combined into a community-wide summary. Individual responses and identifying information will not be publicly shared.

Please take a few minutes to complete the survey by September 3rd. Every response helps us better understand our community’s needs and priorities.

If you would prefer to complete a paper survey, please visit the Ford City Borough office.

The future of our community should be shaped by the people who call it home. Please participate and help us plan thoughtfully for the years ahead!
