Reentry Coordinator Tim Brown is a huge asset to our institution. He consistently demonstrates an exceptional ability to maintain a positive attitude while executing his duties with professionalism and efficiency. He consistently goes above and beyond to support offenders as they are readying themselves to transition back into our communities, showing his dedication, compassion and leadership skills.

Last Friday, OCC held a Town Hall meeting that was opened with the presentation of some awards earned by staff. Awards ranged from staff recognized for being nominated for DOC Employee of the Month, to their commitment to statewide Health and Wellness initiatives/competitions. It’s a true pleasure to be surrounded by such an amazing group of people! Congratulations to all of you!

Extremely proud of COII A. Meher and COII Atkinson! Thank you both for all you do!

Recently, OCC very proudly presented Challenge Coins to COII A. Meher and COII J. Atkinson. While assisting at WERDCC, both Sergeants were instrumental in removing drugs from the visiting room. Their actions significantly enhanced the safety of both staff and offenders. We greatly appreciate their dedication and outstanding efforts.

Austin works in Maintenance and is one of those people that quietly goes about his business, setting a great example for others follow, while performing his duties to the best of his ability.
