Even though some areas of the county received rain. We still have not received sufficient rainfall to allow us to lift the burn ban. We are still experiencing extremely dry conditions. Please do not burn. Wildfires are extremely dangerous and can spread rapidly.

The Dallas County Office of Emergency Management is pleased to announce the award of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission’s Marine Fuel Tax Grant. This $240,000, 50/50 matching project will fund a 2-inch asphalt overlay along one mile of Dallas County Road 246 to improve roadway durability, enhance performance, and ensure long-term reliability. The work is part of a series of projects designed to strengthen the long-term sustainability and hazard mitigation of Dallas County roads.
