Lt. Gen. Harter, Chief of the Army Reserve, and Command Sgt. Maj. Betty, Army Reserve Command Sergeant Major, visited the 360th CA BDE (A) to bid farewell to our mobilizing unit. The Command Team shared words of wisdom and encouragement as the Soldiers prepare to execute a wide range of Civil Affairs operations across Africa.

The BDE HHC successfully concluded Annual Training with outstanding momentum. Training began with a comprehensive Combat Lifesaver training course, followed by Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) driver certification. Lastly, we concluded with a well-deserved awards ceremony and the promotion of SGT Alexis Lopezrobles.

The 360th Civil Affairs Brigade (Airborne) is headquartered at FT Jackson, SC. Recognized as one of the most frequently deployed Army Reserve units, the Brigade has supported numerous major operations, including Operation Urgent Fury (Grenada), Operation Just Cause (Panama), Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm (Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Kuwait), and Operation Uphold Democracy (Haiti). In 1996, the Brigade deployed over 300 Soldiers to Bosnia-Herzegovina in support of Operation Joint Endeavor and has participated in additional missions, including Restore Hope, Joint Force, Joint Guardian, and Early Victor.

The Brigade has continuously deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and the Global War on Terrorism, serving in Afghanistan, Iraq, Kuwait, the Horn of Africa, and other global contingency operations. Today, the 360th Civil Affairs Brigade (Airborne) maintains its operational readiness with Soldiers currently deployed in Africa.

Today, the 360th Civil Affairs Brigade (Airborne) formally bid farewell to Command Sergeant Major Carlton B. Jones and welcomed Command Sergeant Major Gary M. Robinson during a Relinquishment of Responsibility Ceremony. Over the past two years, CSM Jones has led the Brigade with distinction, guiding it through multiple successful missions, including overseas deployments and airborne operations. As CSM Robinson assumes responsibility, he will lead the Brigade through the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead, continuing the legacy of excellence and commitment to mission readiness.
