Today we celebrate something truly special; generations of strength, perseverance, and the power of home. ❤️🏡

Congratulations to our newest Habitat Family Partner, Haley Wilson, and her daughter, Leilani!

This moment is especially meaningful because Habitat for Humanity has been part of Haley’s family story for generations. Haley’s grandmother is the owner of one of the first Habitat homes ever built in Rutherford County. Her mother grew up in a Habitat home, and now Haley and Leilani will continue that legacy in a place to call their own.

What an incredible reminder that homeownership changes lives for generations to come. We are so proud to walk alongside your family on this journey and cannot wait to see the memories made in your new home.

✨ The Heart Behind Habitat ✨

Meet Dayna West, Volunteer Coordinator & Construction Administrator.

Although she wasn’t born in Rutherford County, Dayna has spent most of her life here and is proud to serve the community she calls home.

For 16 years, Dayna dedicated her time as a Habitat volunteer before officially joining the team 7 years ago. What she loves most about her work is seeing the direct impact Habitat has on the families we serve and watching dreams become reality every single day.

In her role as Volunteer Coordinator, Dayna deeply values the people who give one of life’s greatest gifts; their time. She is passionate about supporting and encouraging the volunteers who make our mission possible.

As Construction Administrator, she also enjoys guiding homeowners through each step of the homebuilding journey and seeing each project come together from start to finish.

Outside of Habitat, Dayna treasures time with her family; especially her grandchildren. She loves getting lost in a good book and spending time in nature through hiking, photography, sunrise gazing, and sunset chasing.

Meet Laura-Lee, our Family Services Coordinator and Community Outreach at Habitat for Humanity Rutherford County!

A Rutherford County native, Laura-Lee is a graduate of Chase High School, Isothermal Community College and Liberty University. She is passionate about serving the community that has given her so much and is dedicated to helping local families achieve affordable homeownership.

Outside of work, Laura-Lee enjoys spending time with her family. She also has a creative side and loves painting in her free time.

She is excited to connect with the community, build relationships, and help more families find safe, affordable housing opportunities.

We’re grateful to have Laura-Lee as part of the heart behind Habitat. 🏡💙
