About your Instructor

I am currently a Master Patrol Officer with the Forest City Police Department with 16 years experience in law enforcement. I am a certified General Instructor and Specialized Fi****ms Instructor through the North Carolina Criminal Justice Training and Standards Commission. I have obtained the certificate to teach the North Carolina Concealed Carry Handgun classes in an attempt to help my community. For all of those who are interested, willing, and/or able, I want you to take on the responsibility of carrying a concealed handgun with as much knowledge as you can. For experienced or novice shooters, this is not a marksmanship class. However, I will make a very reasonable effort to make sure that everyone leaves with some sound handling and safety know how as well.
