🌍 Cologne is one of the busiest rail junctions in Europe, sits along a major stretch of the Rhine, and has 17 million people living and working within 100 kilometers of its city center. It has grown into a genuine hub for manufacturing and logistics on the continent — which is fitting, given that our industry is fundamentally about moving things safely. We're glad to be holding this meeting in a city that understands that work.

🏗️ Germany's reputation for precision manufacturing didn't come from marketing — it came from generations of companies, tradespeople, and engineers who took quality seriously. Cologne is very much part of that tradition. One of our goals in bringing WSTDA members here is to experience that environment directly, not just read about it. There's real value in seeing the broader culture that shapes global standards in our industry, and this meeting is a chance to do exactly that.

🏛️ Not many cities can say the four-stroke engine was invented within their limits, or that one of the world's first mass-produced automobiles came off a production line here back in 1901. Cologne has that kind of history. It's a city where engineering and craftsmanship have been part of everyday life for a very long time, and that context makes it a meaningful place for our members to gather. We think you'll feel that when you're there.

⚙️ There's a reason we're heading to Cologne for our Fall 2026 Meeting. The city sits at the center of North Rhine-Westphalia, a region that accounts for more than 16% of all German industrial sales and is home to over 9,600 manufacturing companies. For anyone working in slings and tie downs, being in a place where manufacturing is this deeply embedded in the culture just makes sense.
Will we see you there?
