For National Water Quality Month, we’re revisiting the seven proposed removals from the state impaired waters list in which Clean Water Fund grants from the Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources significantly contributed to water-quality improvements. COMFORT LAKE-FOREST LAKE WATERSHED DISTRICT

2027 BUDGET & LEVY

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Managers of the Comfort Lake-Forest Lake Watershed District will hold a public hearing pursuant to Section 103D.911 of Minnesota Statutes on September 10, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. to consider the District’s budget and tax levy for the year 2027.

The total proposed expense budget for 2027 is $3,283,657. Estimated grants and other revenues total $957,435. The Board proposes a levy ranging from $2,312,012 to $2,412,534 on real property in Washington and Chisago Counties within District boundaries.

The public hearing will be held at the District offices at 44 Lake Street South, Suite A, Forest Lake, MN. The public hearing may be attended via Zoom. Visit www.clflwd.org for more information.
