Mr. Rigwald's Global Studies students learned about the cultural and economic reasons behind India's Bollywood movie genre. They also learned about the major impact Bollywood has on India's society today. As an extension to that learning, Mr. Rigwald gave students the opportunity to stay after school and watch a full-length classic Bollywood movie. Those that took that opportunity learned that movies with subtitles can be just as enjoyable as movies natively in English.
