PUBLIC NOTICE: In observance of the Labor Day holiday, Forest Park City Hall and administrative offices will be closed on Monday, Sept. 7. Offices will reopen on Tuesday, Sept. 8, for normal business hours.

The Forest Park City Council will hold thier next work session and general body meeting on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, beginning at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers (745 Forest Pkwy.).

📢 FOREST PARK: LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD. Union Pacific Railroad (UP) and Norfolk Southern Railway (NS) are seeking approval for UP to acquire NS. If approved, Forest Park could see more trains, additional hazardous-material shipments and potential impacts from increased noise and air pollution.

🗣️ The Surface Transportation Board is preparing an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), and your comments matter! Residents and businesses are encouraged to submit comments and share their concerns.

Today, we remember John Clay Gaddy, a beloved member of the Forest Park Fire & Emergency Services who died in the line of duty from COVID-19 on Sept. 2, 2021. An amazing husband, father and grandfather, Gaddy was a 12-year veteran of the fire department who was known for his goofy sense of humor and kind heart. Described by many as someone who could be counted on for a listening ear and honest advice, his true passion was public service and mentoring others. May we always remember John Clay Gaddy.
