Lacey Township Municipal Alliance The State of New Jersey provides half of the funding from the Alliance through a grant from the Governor's Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse.

The mission of the Lacey Township Municipal Alliance Committee is to work with the police, schools, community groups and businesses to educate and help prevent substance abuse in the community. MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Lacey Township Municipal Alliance Committee is to work with the police, schools, community groups and businesses to provide community members with quality programs whic

h educate our citizens about drug, alcohol and tobacco abuse and misuse. Part of this mission is to also provide a coordinated approach to advocacy, collaboration and education to promote wellness among all age groups and to keep individuals and families healthy and safe. PURPOSE

The Lacey Township Municipal Alliance Committee is a coalition of citizens from the business, church and school community as well as members of local organizations. Alliance members work together to develop, plan, and implement programs and activities, which will assist in the prevention of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs (ATOD). The Alliance receives funding from several sources including the State of New Jersey, through Drug Education Demand Reduction (DEDR) funds, the Township of Lacey and local donations from businesses and private citizens. Lacey Township matches the grant through 25% cash match and 75% as an In-Kind (goods and services) donation. These are the scheduled programs and activities of the Lacey Township Municipal Alliance. 2015 ALLIANCE MEETINGS

Fourth Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m.. Meetings are held in the conference room in the Recreation building and are open to the general public. Jan 26, Feb 23, March 23, April 27, May 26, June 22, July 27, August 24, Sept 28, Oct 26, and November 23. There is no meeting in the month of December.
