Fire Station No. 2 Renovation Update! 🚒 Chief John Holcomb takes us on a tour of the progress underway at Fire Station No. 2!

From a brand-new apparatus bay and training tower to upgraded living quarters, expanded parking, and a new station alerting system, these improvements are designed to enhance the safety, efficiency, and facilities our firefighters rely on every day.

We’re excited to see this project taking shape and look forward to sharing more updates as construction continues!

[Wednesday 8/19, 12:24PM]: THURSDAY: An Extreme Heat Warning continues through 8pm for North Texas, and a Heat Advisory remains in effect through 8pm across Central Texas. Remember to drink plenty of water, take frequent breaks in the A/C, and look before you lock your vehicle!

A Burn ban is now in effect for Kaufman County for a period of 90 days.

You cannot activate an open burn permit during a burn ban. Outdoor burning is prohibited at this time.
