Our first Future Ready Day of '26-'27 was a HUGE success at Henderson!

What an incredible day of learning, exploring, and imagining the possibilities! Our Hawks had the opportunity to dive into hands-on experiences while we highlighted our amazing OC in a Box room transformations!

From construction sites to escape rooms, health labs to auto shops, pizzerias and coffee stops, our students were learning by doing, dreaming about their futures, and discovering new possibilities! Future Ready starts now!

Last week Mrs. Harris led wonderful guidance lessons across our campus, helping our Hawks learn more about what a counselor does and, most importantly, the many supports and resources available to them right here at Henderson!

We are so thankful for Mrs. Harris and the way she continues to guide, encourage, and support every student on our campus. Thank you for being a trusted adult and helping our Hawks thrive!

Three days down, and our Hawks are already SOARING! 🦅✨

Our first few days have been filled with learning, connection, routines, procedures, smiles, and SO many happy students! 💙 We’ve loved watching our students settle into their classrooms, build new relationships, and begin their journey toward an incredible year.

And because our teachers are the ones making it happen, we surprised them with a FriYAY Snack Cart! A small thank-you for the countless hours of preparation, hard work, and heart they poured into getting this year started RIGHT! ❤️

We are SO excited about what’s ahead for our Hawks! The journey has officially begun, and we know this is going to be an amazing year.

💙💛 WHAT A FIRST DAY, HAWKS! 💙💛

Our first day at Henderson was nothing short of AMAZING! From big smiles and lots of laughter to new friends, new adventures, and so many happy faces—we couldn’t have asked for a better start!

A HUGE thank you to our incredible staff for making Day 1 so special. We are definitely ready for this year with our fantastic students!

We can't wait to see our Hawks back tomorrow!
