First responders recover body from grain bin

A man was killed Monday in a grain bin accident in rural Monroe County. The Brinkley Fire Department was notified just after 8 a.m., that a worker at the Wilkison Farms operation on Highway 49, about three miles south of Brinkley on Gibbs Road, had fallen into the bin. Brinkley Fire Chief Chad Crawford said he arrived on scene within five minutes of receiving
the call, along with firefighters from the Brinkley Fire Department.
