Here is an update about the electric scooters. There is a state law that says e scooters are illegal until the Municipality / Village adopts am ordinance for them.

The Forreston Police Department would like to thank our donors and volunteers for another successful Shop with a Cop event. With the help of our generous supporters, the Forreston Police Department has been able to assist more than 350 students from the Forrestville Valley School District.

We would also like to extend our gratitude to the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office, Stephenson County Sheriff’s Office, Polo Police Department, and the Oregon Police Department, for sending deputies and officers to help the kids shop. Thank tou to Farm and Fleet of Freeport for the years of supporting Shop with a Cop
