The City Of Forsyth, Georgia

Our Public Works Department has been hard at work replacing the City’s street signs with beautiful blue signs featuring the Forsythia flower!

Each sign is an opportunity to showcase the unique charm and character of our community to residents and visitors alike. This TSPLOST funded project is still underway, but the signs are already bringing a fresh look and a touch of Forsyth pride to our streets!

It’s been six months since Kynette Park reopened after an extensive renovation, and we still can’t believe how wonderful it turned out!

Located about a mile from downtown Forsyth, Kynette Park boasts a softball field and a basketball court, perfect for children and adults alike. The park also features a playground with turf flooring and a splash pad that is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

The Heaven Woods Memorial Trail runs the perimeter of the park, with exercise stations located along the paved path. There’s also plenty of shade, with a large pavilion beside the playground and splash pad and a smaller pavilion beside the softball field.

Although this weekend probably won’t be the time to check out the park 🌧, next week’s forecast calls for perfect park weather. ☀

We can’t wait to see all the memories that will be made and what the future holds for this incredible park.
