Hard Work, Big Accomplishments 💪🌾

Our junior and senior 4-H and FFA members truly shined at this year’s Fair! From early mornings in the barns to the final moments in the show ring, these youth showcased not only their animals and projects—but also their dedication, responsibility, and growth as leaders in our communities.

Their efforts are the result of months (and often years!) of learning, practicing, and pushing themselves to improve. Whether it was in livestock, agriculture, science, communication, or creative arts, each member brought something unique to the Fair—and we couldn’t be prouder.

A huge thank you goes out to the many generous Awards Program donors whose support helps us recognize these achievements. Your contributions make it possible for us to present awards not only during the Fair but also at our End-of-Year Celebration, where members are honored for excellence in record books, leadership, and community service. These awards mean the world to our youth and help reinforce the values 4-H and FFA stand for.

To all who support these programs—you’re helping shape the future, one member at a time. 💚💛 Thank you!

In 4-H, Cloverbuds are our youngest members—typically ages 5 to 7—who are just beginning their journey in the program. While they’re too young for competitive projects, Cloverbuds still get to explore, learn, and grow through hands-on activities, helping build confidence and spark curiosity. At the Fair, Cloverbud entries are non-competitive, which means each one is celebrated for the effort and creativity shown—not judged or ranked.

Here are some of our 19 Cloverbuds that participated in the 2025 Rosebud-Treasure County Fair from the awards ceremony that wrapped up Fair week on July 20th.

Montana 4-H is the youth development program of MSU Extension and reaches over 16,000 youth across the state. In our local program, youth ages 5 to 18 gain lifelong skills through project work, community service, leadership opportunities, and fun experiences like the County Fair. From Cloverbuds to high school seniors, every 4-H member plays a role in making our communities stronger.

We’re proud of our Cloverbuds and can’t wait to see how they continue to grow in 4-H! 💚🍀
