Election Day is tomorrow. Below is the list of polling places and times. We have received a few phone calls this afternoon concerning access to the Little Wolf Capital Building, it will be open and available for voting tomorrow.

As a reminder, absentee ballots were mailed on Friday, May 8. The Federal Primary Election will take place next Tuesday. To be counted, your ballot must be received at the Clerk & Recorder’s Office or at a polling place by 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2. Please note that postmarks are not accepted.
We have coordinated with the Forsyth U.S. Postal Service, and the Postmaster will ensure a final pickup of mailed ballots at 7:30 p.m. on election night.

If you see that your ballot was rejected or returned as undeliverable, please contact the Rosebud County Elections Office at 406-346-7318, we will assist you to resolve any issues and ensure your vote is counted.

Late Voter Registration Begins Tuesday, May 5
What does this mean?
During the late registration period, individuals who wish to register to vote, update their voter information, and vote in the federal Primary Election must do so in person at the Elections Office. Voters will register and receive their ballot at that time.

HELP WANTED:
ROSEBUD COUNTY ROAD DEPARTMENT
Rosebud County Road Department is now accepting applications for a full-time truck driver/operator. Class A Type II commercial driver’s license with air brake endorsements preferred. A clean driving record is required. Must pass a pre-employment drug test. Applicants should be in good physical condition and able to lift seventy pounds without injury, as some duties will require manual labor. Applications and job descriptions are available at Rosebud County Human Resources. Call the Road Department (406)346-2261 to get more information. Applications and job descriptions are also available online at rosebudcountymt.gov or at the Miles City Job Service. Applications may be returned to Rosebud County Human Resources located in the Rosebud County Courthouse, or mailed to PO Box 47 Forsyth, MT 59327, Attn: Human Resources. Public Notice
Rosebud County was successful in obtaining a MT Department of Commerce Planning Grant to assist with the preparation of a Preliminary Engineering Report (PER) to evaluate the replacement of the existing bridge on Lee Creek Road over Hanging Woman Creek located approximately 4.7 miles southeast of Birney, MT. The County is interested in receiving comments from the public is regards to the potential project. Please submit any comments about the project to the Rosebud County Commissioners at 1251 Main St. #2, Forsyth, MT 59327. The public comment period will remain open until the formal public hearing on May 5, 2026. Formal advertisements for the public hearing will follow.

Send text messages demanding payment
Threaten citizens with legal action via text

Do not provide personal or financial information
Delete the message
Report it to local law enforcement or the Montana Attorney General’s Office
