On Saturday, July 18, 2026, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office held our Annual Teen Driving Camp. The teen drivers learned about road safety, the dangers of texting and driving, and the dangers of driving under the influence. They also got a chance to test out their driving skills on the skid pad at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center as well as doing On/Off Road Recovery.
We would like to thank our sponsors AAA and Coca-Cola. We also would like to thank our many volunteers; without you all this camp would not be possible!!
We can’t wait to do it again next year! We are also planning on having an additional class as our Driving Camp fills up quickly.
We will keep you posted for dates for next year!
Safe Driving!!
