A huge thank you to the Town of Oakland and Town Chair Laura Payne for hosting Fort Atkinson Fire Department’s Fall Prevention Seminar. 👏🏻🚑
We had an amazing turnout and were grateful for the opportunity to connect with so many community members about ways to prevent falls and stay safe at home.

Whether it was during the presentation or in the one-on-one conversations afterward, we loved seeing everyone engaged, asking questions, and sharing their experiences. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this event such a success!

🔥🚒 Two local organizations teamed up Tuesday to help protect the long-term health of Fort Atkinson firefighters, donating $10,000 in turnout gear dryers to the fire department as part of an ongoing effort to reduce occupational cancer risk.

Thank you to Kelmann Restoration and the Fort Atkinson Generals Baseball Club who partnered to donate two new dryers capable of drying up to eight complete sets of firefighting gear simultaneously including coats, pants, boots, gloves, Nomex hoods and helmets.
