OUR APPROACH
The Army Reserve supports a wide range of operations that include humanitarian relief and assistance, support to civilian authorities within the United States, and other types of partner-nation capacity building missions. The Army Reserve partners with private sector, for-profit, non-profit, academic, and non-government organizations that assist with such efforts as providing clean water, a safer environment, improvements for schools and health clinics, medical treatment, and life-skills education. Army Reserve Soldiers live and work in both the civilian and military communities and are linked to civilian skills and resources. Private and public sector partners benefit by getting access to the best, brightest, and most highly-trained Army Reserve units and Soldiers. Philanthropic organizations or companies with philanthropic foundations have the opportunity to provide resources to respond to national emergencies and support peace and stability operations around the world in support of military commands and their work with civilian populations. Soldiers benefit by gaining access to unique training opportunities that help them in their military and civilian careers and help advance their leader readiness and individual readiness. Soldiers will also have increased opportunities to serve in real world missions working with local populations and integrating into larger, joint, and inter-agency teams.

This week, the U.S. Army Reserve hosted at Joint Base Myer - Henderson Hall in Arlington, Virginia, starting with Lt. Gen. Robert D. Harter, 35th Chief of Army Reserve and Commanding General of U.S. Army Reserve Command, administering the oath of re-enlistment to 56 Soldiers, reaffirming their commitment to defend the nation.

Each Soldier taking the field represented their home state or U.S. territory, embodying the Citizen-Soldier spirit and the Army Reserve's nationwide reach.

We appreciate our Private Public Partners in attendance representing NBCUniversal, RecruitMilitary, and GE HealthCare. Our partnerships reflect our commitment to connecting highly skilled Soldiers with civilian employment opportunities across the country.

The hour-long military pageant, held in the Washington, D.C., area, featured performances by the U.S. Army Blues, the U.S. Army Band Downrange, the Commander-in-Chief's Guard, the United States Army Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps, and the United States Army Drill Team, alongside elite ceremonial units from the 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) and The United States Army Band ("Pershing's Own").

Shining a spotlight on the incredible work of our own Terese Palance, an U.S. Army Reserve Employment Specialist with the Private Public Partnership Office (P3O)! 🌟

Recently, Terese had the honor of briefing over 100 Su***de Prevention Liaisons and Chaplains from the Deployment Support Command & 412th Theater Engineer Command in West Palm Beach, FL.

The "From Awareness to Action—Become a Lifeline Training" event was a powerful initiative focused on bolstering support for our Soldiers, their Families, and DA Civilians. By sharing knowledge and innovative solutions, the goal is to create a stronger network for those facing mental, physical, behavioral, and financial hardships.

Terese presented the Private Public Partnership Program Overview, showcasing how we can assist in taking care of our Soldiers by providing vital resources to improve their morale, financial situations, and overall quality of life. This is a prime example of the Zero Su***de framework in action—a collaborative effort where every life saved is a victory.

Thank you, Terese, for your dedication and for being a lifeline to those in need. Your work is a testament to the positive impact we can make when we come together!

Great to see our team in action!

Darvin Springfield, A Private Public Partnership Military Technician, represented the U.S. Army Reserve at the RecruitMilitary Career Fair on January 29th. He spent the day connecting with talented service members, veterans, and military spouses at the Centennial Banquet and Conference Center on U.S. Army Fort Bliss.

Our team forges strong partnerships between the Army Reserve and civilian employers. By doing so, we match ready and skilled Soldiers and Veterans—who understand mission, leadership, and teamwork—with fantastic career opportunities. It's about building bridges between military service and civilian success.

A huge thank you to Darvin for his dedication to supporting our military community's career readiness!
