Last week, the 4-6 FIST participated in 81mm MORTEP along with the 4-6 Mortar Platoon. This certifies us and the Mortar Platoon to conduct live fires for maneuver units on the ground during training exercises. Our soldiers performed excellently and this was all-around a great training exercise!

Today 4-6 FIST completed Tactical Swim Training in order to develop water confidence. Our soldiers learned to correctly perform all four swimming strokes, pickup and transfer weight, and swim with weapons. It was a great day of training and the platoon did excellent!

Yesterday, the 4-6 FIST had the pleasure of promoting now SSG Payment. SSG Payment has been an integral addition to the platoon. Serving as the current C Co team chief, SSG Payment has excelled at teaching the soldiers under him and developing them for the future. We thank SSG Payment for his continued dedication to the 4-6 FIST and are excited to see what he accomplishes in the future.
