The Soldiers from the 153rd Field Feeding Company, 1st Armored Division, Division Sustainment Brigade, deployed late May to Fort Knox, Kentucky to support the Cadet Summer Training. The training will culminate in August 2023. The Cadet Summer Training is the largest annual training event in the Army. It is designed to lay the foundation of the Army future leaders in the Active Force. Over 10,000 cadets participate in a span of three months.
The field feeding team, led by SFC Gutierrez, have vigorously worked to support and feed 12 Regiments with the preparation of up to 2,600 meals a day. The team has collaborated with field feeding teams across FORSCOM, enhancing their ability to work jointly with other Culinary Specialists to support the same mission at hand.
The Division Food Advisor, CW3 Nolasco, Andres and the DSB Food Service Team, CW3 Apodaca & MSG Puente visited the Soldiers during the exercise. They provided mentorship and professional development to the Soldiers.

Especially now around the holidays, we work hard throughout the year and look forward to seeing our family to unwind and remember why we put in the work."

Muleskinners,
🏈 Be sure to watch the Army versus Navy football game tomorrow!
The uniforms were designed as a tribute to the "Iron Soldiers" of the 1st Armored Division on the 80th anniversary of Operation Torch in Europe and the deserts of North Africa.
This morning Division Sustainment Support Battalion, "Atlas", 1AD DSB held a change of responsibility to say farewell to Command Sgt. Maj. Jefferey L. Gross and welcome Command Sgt. Maj. Rodrigo M. Raeder.
CSM Gross was the Battalion command sergeant major for 30 months and it was an emotional event as he gave his farewell speech.
The battalion and brigade gave him his going away presents and thanked him for all he has done throughout his time here. CSM Gross will be in the area for a few months before moving on to command another battalion.
We welcomed CSM Raeder and look forward to getting to know him and his leadership as he takes the battalion to the next level.
🎅🤶Muleskinners came together for a Toy Drive Ruck March to support Operation Santa Claus for the El Paso and Ft. Bliss community.
After the ruck, Soldiers unpacked their toys and placed them in the donation box which was overflowing with treats to help those less fortunate.
The Grinch made an appearance and even packed a ruck full of toys for the kids.
🎊Congratulations🏆

Today is National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day 🇺🇸
On Aug. 23, 1994, the United States Congress designated Dec. 7 as National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.
Each year on Dec. 7, Pearl Harbor Survivors, veterans, and visitors from all over the world come together to honor and remember the 2,403 service members and civilians who were killed during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.
A further 1,178 people were injured in the attack, which permanently sank two U.S. Navy battleships (the USS Arizona and the USS Utah) and destroyed 188 aircraft.

The 1st Armored Division, Division Sustainment Brigades' Unit Ministry Team conducted a focused spiritual fitness event for the Brigades staff to improve unit cohesion, increase morale, and develop spiritual identity.
Muleskinners were challenged physically, mentally, and spiritually in order to establish and reinforce spiritual and mental resilience.
Soldiers who participated were provided breakfast and had an opportunity to hear from Chaplain (CPT) Johnson about spiritual health reinforcement and the Army Values.
The training was conducted to help recharge the brigade as we go into the holiday season after a long and mission heavy year.
💨🤮 Muleskinners had familiarization training by visiting the gas chamber to ensure they know how to properly wear their protective equipment, which can save their lives in an emergency.
The gas chamber is a part of the chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear defense (CBRN) program. This type of training prepares Soldiers for the possibility of encountering dangerous or deadly contaminants.
In the chamber Soldiers had to break the seal of their gas mask, which exposes the face, eyes, and lungs to the gas.

#safetytips Enjoy your time outdoors with family and friends, but it only takes a few seconds for an accident to occur. 📱 There are a lot of places to explore, but ensure you: 1. Stay on designated trails and walkways 2. always keep a safe distance if at least six feet (2 m) from the edge of the rim 3. In areas where there is a railing or fence, do not climb over the barrier #safetyfirst #Muleskinner #ReadinessthroughSafety #selfie
#Safetytips When working around the house, remember to use safety precautions. Everything learned in the military can be applied to "your" off time. #safetytips Now that it is warm outside, please be safe when riding your motorcycles. Remember: 1. Wear your gear. Helmet, boots, gloves, abrasion resistant pants and jacket. 2.Engage your brain. ... 3. Never use mobile while riding. If it that important to talk, park and talk. 4.Don’t change lanes erratically. 5. Don’t speed...Be patient #readinessthroughSafety #safetytips #MuleskinnerStrong #justride #Besafe
