This past week the Dragons had the special opportunity to present SGT Tuttle, SGT Gibson, SPC Mora, and SPC Cochran PCS Awards! These personnel from Headquarters Platoon are some of our hardest working NCOs and Soldiers, and we are truly honored to present them with awards for the hard work and expertise that they have provided to the unit. We wish these Soldiers the best at their future duty stations, as we know that their receiving units will be extremely lucky to have them!

Recently the Dragons presented baby certificates and ornaments to SSG Frederick, SPC Mbah, and SPC McGillem for their new children! Due to the constraints of COVID-19 and our recent deployment, they were not able to return home for their childrens' births, however we would not miss the opportunity to recognize these extremely important events in their lives. Congratulations to these Soldiers and their families!

Hi team! Here are some changes that were just published regarding the new ponytail guidance. SPC/ CPLs who would like to improve their APFT score for promotion points will now be allowed to do so as well!

Update Update Update!!

Now you can get vaccinated at Freedom Crossing too!!

The most immediate way through the oscillating COVID-19 cycle is by getting vaccinated. We have plenty of capacity for Soldiers, Families, and Civilians to receive the vaccine.

-Observing a decrease in positive cases will allow for the conditions to change.
-As we see an increase in the vaccinated population, and assuming this will decrease transmission of the virus, we can expect a relaxation of the restrictions for installation personnel.
-Our community numbers are at a plateau, in order to affect the plateau and ultimately lower infections vaccination is the way.
-We have ample supply of the vaccine and have expanded opportunities, and will continue to do so, to receive vaccinations.
-Expanding opportunities for vaccination through mobile vaccination teams in an effort to make it easier for those who want to be vaccinated can do so as quickly as possible.

-UPDATE: Vaccination clinic now open at Freedom Crossing (next to Military Clothing Sales) from 1000-1330 Tuesday through Saturday! Walk-ins welcome, no appointment needed!

-Stout Gym vaccination site call 915-742-2273 or make an appointment on www.tricareonline.com.

A board will review all concepts and a "final 5" will be selected for presentation to a panel of senior leaders from across the installation. A lot has happened since we got from deployment, and one of the most bittersweet moments was our Change or Responsibility between 1SG Buenning and SFC Rodriguez. 1SG Buenning has been a great asset to the team for the past 19 months and is now transitioning into a THAAD unit. Meanwhile, we welcomed with open arms SFC Rodriguez, excited for some new challenges and embracing some change.
