Today, Delta “Diesel” Battery said goodbye to our favorite LT, LT Myers, who has been Fire Control’s Platoon Leader for more than a year. LT Myers leads Soldiers with pride and did an incredible job running Delta’s page! We don’t know what we will do without him!
Today at R-Time, CPL Dewey was promoted to SGT Dewey. SGT Dewey is a legendary NCO whose positive impact on Delta will last for many years. Too Easy!

Today, Delta Soldiers conducted rollover training at the Fort Bliss Simulation Center, practicing how to react to a vehicle rollover. No HMMWV’s were injured during this training.

This week, Diesel had the honor of re-enlisting SGT Caldwell. SGT Caldwell is a legendary leader and NCO who has had a lasting positive influence on Diesel Battery as Armorer and Launcher Platoon Squad Leader. He’s re-enlisting as a 92A, but SGT Caldwell is Cobra Strike for life.

These pictures are from Diesel’s field exercise last week, as part of Cobra Strike November. We had a great time practicing mobility drills on our new equipment.

This week, Diesel Battery had the honor of re-enlisting SPC Taylor. She re-enlisted as a 12B Combat Engineer, but she’s Cobra Strike for Life!
We also gave SGT Caldwell a Battery coin for his excellent work directing, filming, and editing the Battery film, which debuted (for the most part) at the Cobra Corral. Some are calling him SGT Spielberg.

Today, the Diesel family said goodbye to 1LT Jeffrey Malm-Annan, a leader whose lasting impact on the battery will be felt for years to come. Jeff is moving on to HHB, where he will be the leader of Green Platoon. We will miss you, LT Malm! Too Easy!
