I would like to thank PFC Valentin on his efforts this afternoon. He volunteered to conduct PRT today. He created a unique conditioning workout for our Soldiers. His workout consisted of a long distance run that incorporated sprints. PFC Valentin would drop a PT belt at random, a Soldier and his/her battle buddy would then be responsible for recovering that PT belt at a sprinting pace. This workout exhausted all Soldiers involved. Strike First!

Becoming a Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) should be a passion you have in wanting to train your Soldiers, always looking out for their best interest, taking care of their families, always providing guidance and mentorship. It’s not just collecting a paycheck. It’s a huge deal. With that being said.....Congratulations to SPC Lykes on his promotion to Sergeant. We are very proud of this young man and look forward to seeing this new NCO taking charge and leading from the front. The S-6 section has gained a great NCO.
