Crazyhorse Troopers Families,
I hope you’re all doing well. I’m writing to let you know that the Crazyhorse Troopers have made it safely to Poland. Everyone is in good spirits, and we’re settling into our new surroundings. Some of our Troopers are still on their way here from Fort Bliss, but the rest of us are all accounted for and ready to hit the ground running.
It’s chilly outside but the living quarters are warm, clean, and comfortable, and the meals are definitely something to look forward to after the long journey. Our equipment is still rolling in, and it will take a little time to get everything in top shape after its long trip across the ocean, but we’re already on it and making sure it’s ready for action.
As we look ahead to Thanksgiving, we’re all excited for a little taste of home—good food, football, and a few other games to keep things fun. It won’t be quite the same as being home with family, but we’re making the best of it and finding ways to connect with each other during the holiday.
We’re also gearing up for upcoming training events and even a Spur Ride, which will be a great way for our Troopers to continue building skills and have a good time.
I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for your patience, support, and the sacrifices you’re making while your loved ones are away. We know it’s not easy being apart, and we truly appreciate the strength and encouragement you provide.
It makes all the difference for us out here.
We’ll continue to keep you updated as things progress, but for now, know that everyone is doing well and we’re in good shape.
Thank you again for all your support. We couldn’t do this without you.
V/R,
CPT Timothy J. Donnelly
Commander, C TRP/2-13 CAV
