This past week was bittersweet for Crusader Battery. Charlie Battery bid farewell to 1SG Woods and welcomed in 1SG Tamayo. 1SG Woods is a longtime Crusader and . His leadership has inspired many Soldiers both past and present. In attendance -both virtual and in person- were 1SG Woods's and Tamayo's families as well as friends from across 2-43 Warrior Battalion and the Army. We wish 1SG Woods the highest successes in his future endeavors and look forward to seeing where 1SG Tamayo leads us!

On September 1st, the Crusaders had to opportunity to promote three NCOs through the ranks. All three of these NCOs have provided incredible leadership and guidance above their rank for the duration of this deployment. Their tactical expertise and tireless pursuit to achieve their goals paid off.
