250 years ago, our nation declared its independence and committed to defending it. Today, the XVIII Airborne Corps carries that promise forward as America's Contingency Corps, ready to deploy and fight at no notice, anywhere in the world.

For more than 80 years, our Paratroopers have answered that call: through Normandy and Bastogne, Grenada and Panama, the deserts of Iraq and the mountains of Afghanistan, and every mission since. That legacy stands behind every Soldier who wears this patch today.

This Independence Day, we celebrate 250 years of a promise kept. All The Way.

3CSC SOLDIERS INCREASE THEIR PERFORMANCE, RESILIENCE, and MISSION SUCCESS

3rd Corps Sustainment Command focused on strengthening their warriors in the five H2F domains. Across multiple days and nights in the field these Spears Soldiers developed their physical, mental, nutritional, spiritual, and sleep domains preparing them to overcome challenges in both their life and military service.

Each domain impacts the others and a strong well rounded Soldier ensures they are prepared for both the physical and mental demands of modern combat.

In case you missed it: the 7th Transportation Brigade (Expeditionary) welcomed Col. Carey Way as its new commander on June 18 at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, with Brig. Gen. Raphael S. Heflin presiding over the ceremony.

We thank Col. John “Eddie” Gray for his leadership and commitment to the 7th TB(X) and its mission of delivering expeditionary transportation and sustainment capability wherever the Army needs it most.

Welcome to the helm, Col. Way.

Celebrating 251 years of the U.S. Army

Since 1775, America's Army has stood ready to protect the nation and its people and will fight to defend its values. 3CSC Soldiers celebrated the Army birthday with a solid 5K run for physical training and later cut cake and broke bread in celebration at the newly renovated Spears Restaurant.
