As the only AUSA Chapter in North Carolina, the Fort Bragg and North Carolina Chapter is your local AUSA representative. Our office is located in the Soldier Support Center on Fort Bragg, North Carolina. W
e represent all Army Active, Reserve, National Guard, Army Civilian Employees, Retirees, AUSA members and their families here in North Carolina. We provide the “grassroots support” for America’s Army. We are celebrating 50 years of service to our soldiers and their families here in North Carolina. We are proud to hold the honor of being the largest chapter in the worldwide AUSA network for the last 35 years, strongly supported by the 82d Airborne Division (largest unit membership for the last 18 years), our Special Operations Forces, and numerous other tenet active, reserve, and national guard units who are stationed on Fort Bragg as well as our other Army elements located throughout the state. We develop programs and activities that provide community support for America's Army through individual and corporate members. We serve as the liaison between the Army and local civilian communities. We help educate the public about the needs for a strong national defense and the Army. The Fort Bragg & NC Chapter, AUSA is involved in a variety of programs to help support deployed and mobilized soldiers and their families. Typical chapter activities include general membership meetings with high profile guest speakers, community involvement events, and special events honoring the Army and outstanding Soldiers.
