All burn permits will be issued on Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 7 pm starting next Thursday, the 25th. We have changed our meeting and training nights from Wednesdays to Thursdays.
You can still obtain a burn permit online at fc.burnpermits.com.

Personnel will be at the station tonight, June 17th, between 6:30 and 7 pm to issue permits.

The Fort Calhoun Rural Fire District Board will hold its regular monthly meeting at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday evening, June 25, 2026. This will be a public meeting at the Fort Calhoun Fire Station. FC firefighters assisted Blair Volunteer Fire & Rescue and Kennard Fire Rescue on a detached garage fire this morning.
Fire was contained to the garage.

FCFD assisted Ponca Hills Volunteer Fire Department Monday afternoon with a manure fire. In return, PHVFD assisted FCFD with a trash fire Tuesday evening. Thank you all who assisted with both incidents.
