Pratt Museum has grown into the Tennessee Wings of Liberty Museum, built by a community that believes this history deserves to be preserved and shared.

On October 3 and 4, 1993, American forces fought through the streets of Mogadishu, Somalia, in what became known as the Battle of Mogadishu. Pilots and crews of the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, the Night Stalkers headquartered right here at Fort Campbell, flew through heavy fire to support the mission. When two Black Hawk helicopters went down, soldiers held their ground through the night to protect the survivors until help arrived.

We remember them today, and every Night Stalker who has answered the call since.
