Reminder...We will be having an FRG meeting at the FRC dining hall TOMORROW- Thursday, April 17th at 5:30. It will be an Easter theme and we will have Easter treats for the kiddos...maybe the Easter bunny too! Also, we are asking for you to bring your favorite covered dish to share. This will be a cook off so bring your best! Not a cook? No problemo! Pick up a dessert, side dish or soft drink! That will be great too! We will not have childcare at this meeting since we want to include them in the Easter fun!

Thinking about volunteering for the FRG? That would be AMAZING & we hope you decide to do so! We will have a luncheon tomorrow to discuss the role of the Point of Contact (POC) and provide information on POC classes available. This will also provide a great time to meet and mingle with each other!
Drop by between 11:30-1:00 on Monday, April 14th at the outside pavilions (beside the playground) at The Village Commons at Hammond Heights. (weather permitting, of course) This is the neighborhood playground that has the Starbucks. It's across from JAG and Police Annex. The address is: 3065 Forrest Road Fort Campbell, KY 42223 .

Do you have a green thumb and can be willing to help with a beautification project at Brigade Headquarters? Please let me know if and when you can be available to "spruce up" the flower beds outside the building. We want our brigade home to look amazing for the Week of the Eagles! Can you help us with ideas (and maybe a little work) for the flower beds?

Winter Wonderland Info!

Family & MWR is bringing a Winter Wonderland to Fort Campbell on Dec. 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., you and your Family can wander through the Outdoor Recreation area and celebrate the season. Activities will take place at the Fort Campbell Riding Stables, Destiny Park and the Adventure Programs building. Please park your vehicle at the old arena across from the main Outdoor Recreation Building.

At the Stables, your child can take a Reindeer (pony) Ride for $3, ages 10 and over can take a buy one get one (BOGO) trail ride - two people ride for only $20, or all ages can take a hay ride for $2.

Wander on over to Destiny Park and lace up some ice skates because that’s where the free (skates included!) ice skating rink will be located. When you’re tired from skating, let the kids make some free crafts or play on the free inflatables while you enjoy the live entertainment. If you bring your camera, you can take a photo in the life-size snow globe! Inside the tent you will find Santa available for photos and you can view the FRG Gingerbread House Contest entries and then vote for your favorite one on the Fort Campbell MWR page by clicking “Like” under the photo.

Over in the Adventure Programs building you can try out the new Indoor Climbing Wall from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This cost is $5 for three climbs and these can be for one individual or shared by Family. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. No ATM on site.

Thank you to our wonderful sponsors for making this program possible! Premier sponsors University of Phoenix, USAA and Jones International University. Co-sponsor USA Discounters and other sponsors, Fort Campbell Federal Credit Union, Mathews Nissan, and Dance Force.
