Today, the Blackhawk community came together to honor the life and legacy of SGT Austin High, a beloved Squad Leader who recently passed away. SGT High's unwavering dedication and exemplary leadership touched the lives of all soldiers he led, setting an unmatched standard for Non-commissioned Officers.

His infectious competitive spirit and unwavering commitment to excellence have left an indelible mark not just within our Squadron, but throughout the Raider Brigade, the 4th Infantry Division and the entire Army community. Though his absence leaves us heartbroken, we are forever grateful to have served alongside such a remarkable leader.

SGT High's memory will continue to inspire and guide us. Our thoughts are with his family, wife, and their children during this difficult time.
