Green Berets Lead the Way at Pikes Peak

For the third consecutive year, the Originals proudly helped kick off the Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, leading the charge up America's Mountain and guiding the Parade of Champions at one of Colorado's most iconic motorsports events.

Representing both the 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) and the Colorado Springs community, our Green Berets demonstrated the professionalism, precision, and commitment that define the Regiment while strengthening the bond between the military and the community we proudly call home.

Also taking part for the second year was Eli Olivas, a former Green Beret who once again, carried the names of our fallen heroes, honoring their sacrifice and ensuring their legacy remains with us.

Originals Week: 74 Years Strong

For 74 years, the 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) has built a legacy of readiness and excellence, carried forward by every Soldier, every family, and every generation of Originals.

This year’s Originals Week honored that legacy through a series of demanding competitions testing physical endurance, technical skill, and tactical expertise. From sports tournaments and weapons events to combatives and tough physical challenges, teammates pushed themselves to uphold the standards that define 10th SFG(A). Standout performers earned the title of Fittest Original, while others took top honors in the Thorne Competition.

The week wrapped up with Family Day, bringing Soldiers and loved ones together to celebrate the bonds that strengthen the formation and the families whose support enables The Originals to answer the nation’s call.
