The city continues to have water leaks and meter problems and are looking into plans to replace the 50+year old system. There are lots of worn out waterline that have been repaired in the past. The meeting was to gather information to make an educated/financial decision on how to move forward from where we are. The OWRB Infomed us we might be eligible for monies to assist with cost. The project will take approximately $350,000. More will be discussed at the October council meeting.
Those attending the meeting were City manager Robert Weaver, City Community Development officers Sheri Hammons and Ronda Weaver, Charles de Courne, (OWRB), Justin Hodge DEQ, Rowynn Ricks (OWRB), Kim Hornbuckle WDB Engineering. Jimmy Niece water/sewer department

Town wide cleanup went great. The two roll off dumpsters were full to the top as well as the one at city hall. A mountain of limbs were dropped off. The young man that picks up metal had a large load he will come back next week to get the rest. For those that missed this opportunity you will get another chance May 8. We will have rolloff service again. So put it on your calendar. Ronda Weaver will be keeping you updated too.

The old dog kennels were repaired and made ready for stray dogs. The pens will be cleaned daily when occupied.

Please respect business owners trash bins.
Do not put trash in their containers.
If you need an extra polycart call city hall. I believe it is about $5 extra a month to do so.
Thank you
