As a nonprofit organization, this event is our largest fundraiser of the year and helps make it possible for adults living with disabilities and dementia to access enriching daytime programming, meaningful social connection, and door-to-door transportation throughout Northern Colorado.

One thing we’ve learned at Elderhaus is the importance of getting outside. 🌞🌿

Fresh air and sunshine do more than brighten our day—they have a real, positive effect on our bodies and minds. Time outdoors can boost mood, support better sleep, encourage movement, and help reduce stress. Sun exposure also helps our bodies produce Vitamin D, an essential nutrient that supports bone health, immune function, and overall well-being.

Whether we’re enjoying a walk, tending to plants, or simply sitting in the sunshine, these moments of connection with nature contribute to a healthier, happier day.

At Elderhaus, we make outdoor time a regular part of our days because sometimes the simplest things can make the biggest difference. 💚

We create opportunities for connection, purpose, friendship, and joy while offering caregivers the support and peace of mind they deserve.

Every day, lives are enriched through activities, socialization, therapeutic programming, and a caring community that sees the value and dignity in every individual.

Friendship Friday 💙

Friday is all about friendship.

For many adults with disabilities, finding and maintaining meaningful friendships can be challenging. For those living with dementia, relationships often change as the disease progresses, and friendships can become strained or fade away altogether.

That’s one of the many things that makes Elderhaus so special.

When people spend their days together—sharing meals, activities, laughter, and conversations—friendships form naturally. Connections grow. People feel seen, valued, and included.

At Elderhaus, we witness these friendships every day, and they remind us of something important:
