May is Mental Health Awareness Month. 💚
This year’s theme is: “Stigma grows in silence. Healing begins in community.”
At the Health District, we see the power of community every day – whether it’s connecting someone with mental health support, partnering with local organizations, supporting youth and families, or helping people find resources close to home.
Mental health challenges can feel isolating, but no one should have to navigate them alone. Sometimes healing starts with a conversation, a check-in, or simply knowing support is available.
This month, we invite our community to speak openly about mental health, check in on one another, and help reduce stigma by reminding people that asking for help is a sign of strength.
