If you've attended our Board meetings in the past few months, you may already know that the Health District is considering a potential campus move to streamline our operations.

Our next Board meeting on Wednesday, August 19 will focus a lot on this potential campus move.

Our executive director Brian Ferrans will share the “why” behind the possible move and walk us through how we arrived at this point. Following Brian's remarks, you'll have the opportunity to weigh in and share your thoughts. Please join us if you’re able to!

Acompáñenos en el próximo Día de Concientización sobre la Sobredosis, un evento que ofrece servicios gratuitos de autocuidado, como yoga, talleres de arte, masajes en silla y AcuDetox. Estos eventos reúnen a familias, proveedores de servicios, organizaciones comunitarias y defensores que apoyan la prevención, la recuperación, el recuerdo y la esperanza.

El Día de Concientización sobre la Sobredosis es organizado por North Colorado Health Alliance (NCHA) y NoCo Collaborative for Addiction and Recovery Supports (NoCo CAReS), y el Health District es el patrocinador principal del evento. Tendremos un puesto informativo del Health District en los eventos de Fort Collins, Loveland y Estes Park; le invitamos a visitarnos para conocer nuestros servicios y descubrir cómo el Health District puede acompañarle en su camino hacia el bienestar.

Join us for an upcoming Overdose Awareness Day, a day of free self-care services including yoga, art workshops, chair massages and AcuDetox. These events bring together families, providers, community organizations and advocates to support prevention, recovery, remembrance and hope.

Overdose Awareness Day is hosted by North Colorado Health Alliance (NCHA) and NoCo Collaborative for Addiction and Recovery Supports (NoCo CAReS), and the Health District is the premiere sponsor for the event. We will have a Health District booth set up at the Fort Collins, Loveland and Estes Park events, so please feel free to stop by to review our services and learn how the Health District can play a part in your health journey.

Hi, my name is Rosie Duran with the Larimer Health Connect program, and our team is here to help you navigate through health insurance options, including Colorado's Medicaid program and the Connect for Health Colorado Marketplace.
In 2025, new legislation called H.R. 1 (or The Big Beautiful Bill) was passed, and it’s changing the requirements for Colorado Medicaid coverage.

Understanding these changes can be pretty confusing, but we’re here to help you navigate the new requirements.
We have 2 free lunch-and-learns coming up in Fort Collins to bring you up-to-date with these important changes, one in English and one in Spanish.

The English lunch-and-learn is at the Council Tree Library on Wednesday, August 5 from 12:30 to 1:30 pm.

The Spanish lunch-and-learn is at the Health District’s 120 Bristlecone office on Friday, August 14 from 12 to 1:00pm.

Aunque muchas personas se inscriben durante el periodo de inscripción abierta, es posible obtener cobertura médica en otros momentos del año.

Podría cumplir con los requisitos para un periodo de inscripción especial si recientemente:

Contrajo matrimonio
Tuvo o adoptó un hijo

Myth!

While many people enroll during Open Enrollment, you may be able to get health coverage at other times during the year.

You may qualify for a Special Enrollment Period if you've recently:
Lost health coverage
Gotten married
Had or adopted a child
Moved to a new area
Turned 26 and are no longer covered under a parent's health plan

You may also qualify for Health First Colorado (Medicaid) or Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+) year-round if you meet eligibility requirements.
