Congrats to Julie for officially sealing the win today. After the final ballots were counted I trailed by 0.62%. People’s votes count, clearly. People’s voices matter, greatly. I ran for City Council to bring about balanced change for a people and city I love. The question isn’t whether I’ll run again in 4 years but instead what I’m going to do tomorrow. Change happens by our City Council but also by the involved participation of our citizens. As for tomorrow, I plan to be that person and I hope you will too.

This entire campaign I’ve talked about balance in approaching issues and in life. Today I swam a couple miles at lunch to get ready for my next IRONMAN in May and had a campaign happy hour Maxline Brewing. I’m the only balanced candidate that will make sure we have balance for .

It was great to attend the groundbreaking for the newest Fort Collins city park this afternoon - Sugar Beet Park. I’m glad to live in a city that has such a high value for parks where our communities can gather.

Throughout my time running, it’s been somewhat disheartening to see that I’ve been one of the the only city council candidates at city events. I am committed to giving the time it would take to actively be involved in what the city is doing.

I believe that I’m the right candidate because of my balanced approach and because I will continue to make time to do the job with the highest level of effort.
