Today, we celebrated Sasha and Maryna's closing, which marks a tremendous milestone for our affiliate-- 17 homes closed in this fiscal year!! A new record.

It also means that we are officially done with home construction in our Harmony Cottages neighborhood, our largest neighborhood project to date.

Thank you for everything you do to make HOME possible in our community!!

Please note all Habitat locations are closed today in honor of Memorial Day.

Feel Good Friday: The next two Geometry in Construction homes were craned onto their final foundations at Heartside Hill today. This remarkable visual spectacle is only made possible because of the collaboration and altruistic spirits of our partners: Heart of the Rockies Christian Church for donating the land for this incredible neighborhood. Poudre High School Geometry in Construction students for building the homes. And KP Squared Crane & Heavy Haul who do a tremendous job and lead with safety and community mindedness as top business values. Crane day is always a good day!

Thankful Thursday: Today we gathered for an afternoon of inspiration and fellowship as part of our 2026 Faith Builders Luncheon. Individuals and faith organizations from around the community gathered to hear about the incredible impact they’ve had in Fort Collins and our ambitious plans as we begin building in a new neighborhood. Thanks to the generosity of folks in the room, we raised over $31,000 toward the sponsorship of TWO Faith Build homes. Thanks to all who came!

Thankful Thursday: We've been talking about mustaches for weeks now, and for a good reason! Our friends at The Fort Collins Follicle Club celebrated the end of their fundraising season with "Follicle Fest," a costume party honoring mustachioed men of pop culture. More importantly, though, they shared their final fundraising number:

-40 "growers" raised over $41,500 in just over a month in support of Habitat's program! Those are some MIGHTY mustaches.

Thank you to all who made this year's fundraiser a legend-HAIRY-sucess, including Hard Hat partners Lamp Rynearson , Alpine Bank , Collab Architecture , Norris Design, Air Comfort, Inc. , and EPS Group, Inc. .

👨Follicle Friday: Well, that's a (face) wrap, folks-- The Fort Collins Follicle Club "growers" will officially reach the end of their mustache-growing season on Sunday. To celebrate, we'll be at The Neighbor Fort Collins for this year's "Follicle Fest."

Final measurements will be taken, costumes will be worn, and awards will be given for best and worst 'staches, among other categories. Special thanks to Breeze Thru Car Wash for sponsoring this year's venue, so that all proceeds raised by the fabulous growers go directly toward making HOME possible for local families. We can't wait to share some of the facial-hair-fabulousness after Sunday's event!

Each year, Housing Colorado (a statewide advocacy agency) presents the Eagle Awards to leaders and projects in affordable housing, and we would love your vote!

The Heartside Hill neighborhood was nominated as a project, and we would love to see it be recognized for the tremendous collaboration with Heart of the Rockies Christian Church, CARE Communities, and L'Arche Northern Colorado.

Thanks to this incredible team, Habitat will have 9 Geometry in Construction homes in the neighborhood (Julie, pictured, is one of the first homebuyers to move in!) Additionally, there will be 2 L'Arche homes for individuals with disabilities, and 72 affordable rental units for CARE residents. All on land donated by the church!

If you are as inspired as we are about the possibilities with this kind of project, please take two seconds to vote for Heartside Hill:
